Voices 2025
September 11, 2025 | 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
The Communities Rise annual Voices fundraiser is approaching! Join us on September 11 from 5:30-7:30PM at The Georgetown Stables and enjoy a night of good food, community connection, and joy.
Nonprofits and small businesses in Washington State are facing emerging legal and financial threats in the current political context. Tickets and all additional donations from this event will raise money for The RISE Fund. The RISE Fund allows us to offer free legal and capacity building services and community building to mission-driven organizations. Communities Rise believes every organization can do three things to be ready and stay strong in order to continue serving their communities:
- Legal protection: Nonprofit and small business leaders need legal resources to protect their organizations from inappropriate government enforcement. Communities Rise matches organizations with volunteer attorneys to reduce legal risks and meet basic operating requirements.
- Organizing Capacity: Every organization has the potential to make policy changes at the local, state, and federal levels and needs support to get started. Communities Rise offers legal and capacity building resources to build lobbying, advocacy, and community power.
- Sustainable funding: Organizations need sustainable funding sources to keep their employees and maintain or grow their programming. Communities Rise offers fundraising and grant writing clinics, technical assistance, and trainings to increase access to funds for under resourced communities.
This year, our goal is to reach $100,000, and the first $20,000 donated will be matched 2:1 by our generous sponsors. Donate today to triple your gift!
