As a business owner, your business can mean the world to you, and that’s why it’s so important to create a succession plan. We put together this training and a toolkit to help you succession plan with ease.
What is succession planning? A succession plan helps business owners plan for what would happen in the case of the owner’s retirement, disability, or death. Not having a plan can result in family fighting over control, and in some cases can leave the community without a cornerstone business. A plan takes into consideration who will own and manage the business after the owner leaves, and minimizes the tax impact of the transfer of business ownership.
