This Wayfind signature nonprofit seminar will review the state and federal tax compliance requirements and issues for Washington nonprofits and 501c3 tax-exempt organizations face on an ongoing basis, that are often overlooked.
Topics will include:
- Fiduciary duties of directors and officers,
- Nonprofit corporate governance policies
- Charitable Solicitation Act,
- IRS Form 990 reporting,
- 501c3 tax-exemption issues including:
o private inurement and private benefit (executive compensation),
o lobbying and political activities,
o charitable contribution issues,
o unrelated business income and other issues.
