Internal Controls for Nonprofits – South King County Only

Most small nonprofits, with small staff sizes, do not think about the possibility of embezzlement, financial wrong-doing, or internal mistakes.  However, mistakes and sometimes, intentional wrong-doing, does happen even in small to medium organizations.  There are best practices and policies that should be put in place to insure that these types of events do not happen. This seminar will cover the legal, financial and nonprofit policy perspectives of this topic.

Wayfind is offering the ability to meet one-on-one with an attorney, for free, at a Nonprofit Legal Clinic for a half-hour between 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, before the training.  First come, first serve. If you would like to schedule an appointment at the Clinic, please email jodi@communities-rise.org.

4:00 pm – 6:00 pm – Nonprofit Legal Clinic, half hour appointments with an attorney.

5:00 – 6:00 pm – Dinner will be served.

6:00- 8:00 pm – Presentation
