Learn about board governance as well as the legal obligations and fiduciary duties of a nonprofit board, how to get and maintain your federal tax-exempt status, registration and renewal requirements with the State of Washington, when an organization is required to register as a charity, financial controls that all board members need to be aware of and what the law says about using bingo, raffles and other games of chance to raise money.
