Growing Solidarity
June 9 | 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Registration for this event is now closed!
Join us on June 9th for “Growing Solidarity,” a panel and community event with local organizers!
Communities everywhere are getting creative — building grassroots responses to crises where institutions are falling short to meet our communities’ urgent and often competing needs. From pandemics to racist policing to gender justice, everyday people and organizers are showing up for each other in powerful ways through collective action.
Let’s talk about it. How do we learn from these movements? How do we build on what’s working in our own backyard and beyond?
Come hear from local organizers doing the work, dig into how mutual aid has grown in our region, and figure out together what comes next through a panel discussion followed by a happy hour. BIPOC-led organizations are prioritized to attend.
Tuesday, June 9th | Panel from 2:00 – 4:00 PM | Happy Hour from 4:00 – 6:00 PM
Food by That Brown Girl Cooks | Non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks provided
