About The Presenter
Jeff Brennan is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and is general counsel and chief privacy officer for Vettd, Inc., a Bellevue start-up which develops artificial intelligence solutions for strategic workforce planning and management. Jeff holds Certified Information Privacy Professional credentials for both the U.S. and Europe (CIPP/US, CIPP/E) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals. On a national basis, Jeff served as the Chair of the Identity Ecosystem Steering Group’s Privacy Committee, a public-private partnership focused on fostering the creation of privacy-enhancing trusted digital identities. Jeff authored Part 12, “Personal Information and Online Privacy Issues for Nonprofit Organizations,” of the 2018 edition of the Washington Nonprofit Handbook published by Washington Nonprofits and Wayfind Legal. Jeff is very passionate about the topic of privacy and has provided guidance on privacy requirements and policies to numerous non-profit organizations.
