Attorneys who volunteer to provide pro bono business transactional services to clients of Communities Rise provide a service to low-income microentrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders who would not otherwise have access to legal services.
Our partnerships are important to us and we are thankful to Ventures and the King County Bar Association for their collaboration on our legal clinics.

Clinic Schedules & Locations
Our Microenterprise and Nonprofit Legal Clinics are held monthly in South Seattle. Volunteer attorneys meet with up to two clients for an hour each, providing consultation on business issues, such as choice of entity, contracts, leases, intellectual property, incorporation and bylaws to name a few.
Microenterprise Legal Clinic
Our Microenterprise Legal Clinic, in partnership with Ventures, is typically held monthly on the second Tuesday of the month from 5:30pm – 8:15 pm at the 2100 Building; 2100 24th Ave S. Seattle, WA 98144 (a five-minute drive from our office).
Nonprofit Legal Clinic
Our Nonprofit Legal Clinic, in partnership with the King County Bar Association, is typically held monthly on the third Tuesday of the month from 6:00pm – 8:00 pm at our office: 3642 33rd Ave S. STE C4 Seattle, WA 98144
Both clinics are located close to major bus lines and the Mount Baker Light Rail Station.
Both buildings are ADA accessible, do not have steps to enter them and provide restrooms on the ground floor.

Volunteer Application & Expectations
To volunteer, please fill out our Volunteer Enrollment Form online or send a completed Volunteer Enrollment Form to email@example.com and indicate that you are interested in volunteering for our Microenterprise or Nonprofit Legal Clinics. Communities Rise is extremely proud of the work done by our volunteer attorneys in service to the community. As such, we ask for a high level of professionalism and timeliness from our volunteers. If a Volunteer Attorney is late for 2 clinics, we reserve the right to discontinue scheduling them in the future.
