Attorneys who volunteer at our clinics provide a crucial service to low-income small business owners and nonprofit organizations who would not otherwise have access to legal services.

Clinic Schedules & Locations
Due to COVID19 our Small Business and Nonprofit Legal Clinics are being held virtually until further notice. Volunteer attorneys meet with up to two clients for an hour each, providing consultation on business issues, such as choice of entity, liability, governance, leases, intellectual property and incorporation, to name a few.
Small Business Legal Clinic
In partnership with Ventures, our Small Business Legal Clinic, is held monthly from 5:00pm – 7:15 pm.
Due to COVID-19 all of our legal clinics are currently hosted via Zoom or conference call.
Nonprofit Legal Clinic
In partnership with the King County Bar Association, our Nonprofit Legal Clinic, is held monthly from 5:00pm – 7:15 pm.

Volunteer Application & Expectations
To volunteer, please fill out our Volunteer Enrollment Form online. For any additional questions you can email our Volunteer Engagement Manager at probono@communities-rise.org.
Communities Rise is extremely proud of the work done by our volunteer attorneys in service to the community! As such, we ask for a high level of professionalism and timeliness from our volunteers. If a Volunteer Attorney is late for 2 clinics, we reserve the right to discontinue scheduling them in the future.
