This grant writing technical assistance program is designed to support community-based nonprofit organizations that serve communities impacted by systemic oppression and do not have the internal capacity to hire a grant writer or have staff dedicated to grant writing.
We will be providing free consultation with a grant writer consultant to give you feedback and editing advice on your draft proposal. Please note that we can assist at many stages in the process of brainstorming, development, editing, and polishing, but we cannot write your proposal. These appointments will all be online due to COVID-19.
Who is eligible for grant writing technical assistance?
This service is intended for nonprofit organizations that are submitting a proposal for funding through the Eastside Cities Human Services RFP that:
- Have budget of $500,000 or less;
- Serve communities impacted by systemic oppression, which includes communities of color, immigrant and refugee communities, LGBTQ communities, persons with disabilities;
- The organization’s service area includes Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond and/or Issaquah;
Preference will go to organizations whose leadership (Leadership Staff and Board of Directors) reflect the communities they serve.
